Dock behind Taskbar

Hello,

I used ObjectDock successfully with XP and Vista for over a year now and I got so used to it, that I don't want to miss it anymore.

Today, I upgraded my Laptop to Windows 7 and now, the Dock is BEHIND the Taskbar which makes it really hard to click a button.

Does anyone know how to fix that problem? In XP and Vista, the ObjectDock was "sitting" ontop of the Taskbar, not behind it.

I uninstalled the older Version and downloaded and installed the newest, but same problem :-(

Please Help!

Thanks,

Open OD config and go to the Positioning tab and uncheck Automatic distance from edge then move the dock to where you need it to be.:)

Open up Object Dock configurataion and click on Position.  You should be able to move from Bottom to Top and either Side.  You can also move the dock relative to those four positions.

Sorry to bother more, but now I have the problem, that if there's a window minimized in the taskbar and I want to close it with a rightclick, the little menu that pops up is below the ObjectDock...Does anyone know how to fix that?

As you can see, it's not possible to click on the button "Close Window"

Thanks

What OS, from your pic it looks like the pop-up menu is even behind the Windows taskbar. I am on XP, even with dock set to on top the pop-up from taskbar buttons shows over top of the dock.

In your OD config window, choose the Positioning tab.

Under "Interaction" at the bottom, you probably have it set to "Keep on top." Change your setting to "Hide in background when not in use."

Below is a picture of my setup in both cases: Keep on top is pictured on the left, and hide in background is pictured on the right.

It looks like you are using a zoomer dock at the bottom.  Open Object Dock configurations for that dock, click Position and select either 'Hide in background when not in use' or 'Keep on bottom".  See if either one of them gives you what you want.
