mini dump, what is it and how do I stop it?

Im about 2 hours into a game and I have several ships trying to attack an enemy starbase, every time the starbase drops to 0 hp the came freezes and I get a mini dump dialoge box.  Even if I send a single ship and destroy the starbase with just one ship in the GW it still does this.

I have no idea what a mini dump is so how do I fix this?

 

Windows 7 64 bit

8g ram

HD video card, forgot the version but it plays crysis without even trying.

sounds like an issue with the explosions for the starbase is bad (thats a guess)

suggest a reinstall

if that dont work, send minidump file to sinssupport@stardock.com

2 years 6 computer 4 OS and 5 video cards. Game still crashes.  It cant be stopped.

Do you use any mods?

if so that is what is causing it and contact the mod creaters
