Entrenchment doesn't start - Minidump?

I uninstalled Sins for some reason a month ago. I just reinstalled it and bought Entrenchment, but I forgot to download the patches for Sins original before I bought Entrenchment. I started Entrenchment and it didn't start. The screen went black and a chime sounded, I returned to Windows and a box said "Saved MiniDump" was there. Then Windows informed me that Sins had stopped working.

I'm not really sure what to do. I tried downloading the Sins 1.81 patch, it stops at 2.7% and never goes any further.

Well, the Sins patch is finally downloading, i'll post back when I'm done to see if Entrenchment works with the patch.
