After update I am unable to build orbital structures

Hello,

    I just recently purchased Sins of a solar empire at amazon.com.  I don't know what vesion I have.  How do I find that out and how do I download the most recent version?  It played well on my computer using windows 7.  Then I clicked on the update button and downloaded what they called a bonus pack.

   Now when I play the game I am unable to build orbital structures.  Has anyone else had this problem?

Hello,

   I replayed the game and tis time it allowed my to build the structures so most of my earlier post can be ignored.  If someone could tell me how to find out what vesion of the game I have and where to download the latest version that would be good.
