Image thumbnails not drawing correctly

Hi,

My Vista PC running Window blinds has stopped displaying image thumbnails correctly.  If I go into a folder

containing images I have to set the view type to medium images then back to large or extra large for the

display to work correctly.

Does this with all the skins I've tried.

Anyone had this before?

Dave

David...I've been here a while but never heard that one.

I would strongly suggest opening a ticket with SD tech support.

By the way, when was the last time you updated your WB? Some of those files look pretty old. That might be the reason for the 'misbehavior'.

Hi,

Thanks for the response.

Just downloaded a new WB install although it said it was the trail copy so I hope it picks up my licence.

Have just unloaded WB and the problem is still there...

Go into a folder & set the icons to medium, go backup a level then back to the folder - all ok.

Go into a folder & set the icons to large/extra large, go backup a level then back to the folder - no thumbnails displayed.

I've cleared the thumbnail cache out using disk cleanup and will try a reboot now.

no it won't, unless they changed things.. trials don't activate

From the problem description it doesn't sound like a WindowBlinds problem.

It sounds more like a problem with the system icon cache and I suspect it would continue even if you unloaded WB.

As Bichur says, a trial version cannot be installed over the purchased version, or at least it would act as the trial not the purchased version.  You can get the latest version by installing Impulse or by requesting your serials and links again via the SD support webpages.
