I'm not sure if this counts, but autosave has been going off every 2 min.

 

Also; the neutral extractors are spawning w/ damage when I use vas.

Do you have hull point upgrades?  The moment you capture them, they gain the benefit of any hull upgrades you may have researched.  It's not their hull that's decreasing, but their maximum hull that's increasing.

It's always been this way, by the way.

I thought that might be it, but then one got destroyed (lit. I tried capturing it after, but no beans.) so idk. Didn't think that that was possible.
