There were some server changes taking place.
If you close and reopen Impulse it should be working now.
Hi Neil,
When I opened Impulse it started downloading an update all on it's own. It went okay but in the past I've some "interesting" things happen when two updates tried to run at the same time. Will Impulse normally run on it's own all the time or was that just a "one time" thing? I did notice that the "Updates" button and the missing buttons at the top of the screen are back now. Just don't want a repeat of what happened when Windows Update started at the same time as another software update. It created a mess.
This isn't Neil but here is the answer. When you open Impulse and there is an update to Impulse than it will do it automatically. None of the other programs will update without you clicking on them to update. Impulse is usually a very fast update and hopefully it won't affect you..
Thanks, DaveBax. I do not like updates that load like that. Try having Java running an update at the same time as an unschedule Windows update. What a mess I had from that! Sooo hope you are right and Impulse updates won't cause a problem. I don't remember them running automatically like that in the past.
Actually there is a setting in Impulse. Open it and click on the Blue button on the top left than Preferences. Under Impulse update options check off Prompt for Impulse updates. That should take care of it and you can update when you want to.
