Problem installing windows blinds

 I installed windowsblinds trial version, and after i installed it, a message box popped saying that i had to reboot. But then when i reebooted the computer, the same message box appears. i did close all programs, including antivirus programs, but the same reboot message box still appears. The use additional process doesnt work neither. so in this case, i cant install windows blinds, because every time it would tell me " This machine MUST be rebooted after installing this version of WB6". I tried almost everything, and i dont know what im doing wrong. Im running windows xp, and my computer meets all of the requirements. can somebody help me with this problem? your help would be greatly appreciated.

When you downloaded and installed, were the firewall and av's off?

Even if they were, you could have a borked install. I would uninstall it using CCleaner or the like, and then try downloading again from Stardock.

i did use CCleaner, and i closed my antivirus program but im still having the same problem. i dont really think that its the firewall. i only have this problem with windows blinds. fire walls do not cause me any trouble in installing things.

Are you getting the trial verison from the Stardock site or some where else?

This happens when the WindowBlinds service cannot start,  Check your service (start > run... > services.msc) and see that Stardock WindowBlinds is installed and running.
