GC Forum problems

I have Norton Internet Security installed which, of course, means I have a firewall enabled.

For some reason the alert box keeps popping up every couple of seconds whenever I try to access this forum and then again when I want to read message threads. It's damned annoying as it means I have to disable the firewall to read the forum posts.

Conversely, I can't spend as much time as I want in this forum as I feel paranoid leaving the firewall disabled, especially as I have broadband. It doesn't happen in other game forums I regularly visit such as the Wizardry 8 and Morrowind forums.

Any idea why this is happening with this forum?

That is odd...I'll talk with our webmaster and see what could be the prob.  :notsure:

Theres a little applet type of thingo at the bottom of these pages which flips my work computer out . . . makes the screen blink every second or so. Not sure if thats related? :notsure:

A few of us noticed then that the bytes in and out when looking at the forum were way off, almost equal to each other. This is not usual at all. There is usually a big difference, as bytes sent should be far smaller than received in normal browsing.

Can these forums be revamped just a little tiny bit . . . please, please, please. Everything lumped into one heaped list is well . . . not as nice as it could be. Itsa' hummble suggestion, and new members/purchasers of the game I'm sure would appreciate a section type layout.

I only metion it because I care :)
