Working for Windows 7 YET ?

Have they got a working IconPackager for Windows 7 yet ?  like in X64 bit versions as well  .... of course ?

Or is it still in an un working beta stage ? Like how the icons only apply to some parts you know ?

How long has M$ had the Windows 7 betas and RC's and RTM's out and about now ?

Anything working here yet ?

I'm using iconpackager 5 beta right now and it works perfectly. However, I think the beta is only available to object desktop subscribers through impulse. I'm using windows 7 x64.

Wow thats great news !

It must be only my freshly installed windows 7 x64 RTM ultimate with no system file alerations at all.

Icon packager 5 beta [latest] just will not change the control panel icons.

Man I'd like to see a genuine screen shot of changed contol panel icons in windows 7 RTM x64bit ultimate.

Really interesting replies above to because I got a reply a while back from "Support at Stardock" saying that IconPackager 5 beta was in fact beta and as such "does not have full windows 7 comptability implemented at this stage".

So from the above responces to this post I'm assuming it does have full windows 7 comptability implemented now ?

Not quite sure if everthing works as it should...I still have a problem where the folder icons are not reverting back when changing to the default icons.

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

IP5 is still in beta so there are some things that are not working as they should but the majority of the icons will change

OK so still no working iconpackager for the retail released windows 7  .... hmmm  ok

I've installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and just downloaded IP5. All seems more or less ok except for Workshelf where most icons have turned into white squares. Odd.

Doesn't Workshelf belongs to Winstep, Vlodec? On my Windows 7Prox32 and W 7Home Premium x64 Winstep extreme are working well. Maybe it's the Ultimate that's a problem?

IP5 is working perfectly on both those systems, btw.

Well, I uninstalled IP5 and things are worse now. Many of my icons are now just blank. As an example, of the 6 icons in my Quick Launch bar, only 2 are ok and they're both Windows functions (Show Desktop and Switch Windows). The other 4 (Firefox, Thunderbird, Windows Explorer and Workshelf) are all blank rectangles.

I am having the exact same issue, has anyone figured out how to get the original windows 7 folders back?

Yes.

Open IP > Icon & Cursors Tab > Folders

Highlight icons that are incorrect Use restore default icon on the left Restore windows default

Check all tabs to see all Icons are back to default icons BEFORE uninstalling IP.  or you get the white boxes of Vlodec.
