Windows in Persian

Hi Guys,

I am using Windows XP professional on my laptop and recently made a mistake of changing the version to Persian (I mean the language and appearance and all). It is so inconvinient and is killing me. Can anybody help me get back my English version XP?

Thanks;

Thanks for the advice my freind but unfortunately I have changed windows to show all menus and dialoge boxes in Persian language. For example instead of "Start" it shows "آغاز

Be careful...changing your system to Persian means that all Yes/No requesters become liars.

R U kidding? Whatever possessed you to do such a thing?

Well you need to find out what the word "English (United States) looks like in Farsi (I think that's what the langauge is normally called, not Persian). You may also need to find out what words are used for OK and Cancel and learn to recognise them.

Then go back to the dialogue box that allows you to change GUI language and find the Farsi word for English. Hit OK...

Frankly I didn't even know this option was available in XP - I thought it was introduced in Vista.

If you are totally lost you need to go to an Iranian forum and ask for help with the language.

Nobody here can help you beyond tellling you where the language changing functionality is.

Google Translate

Start
English (United States)
OK
Cancel

شروع
انگلیسی (ایالات متحده)
خوب

Yeah, I'm curious on how this was done, as I remember changing all the language settings on Windows XP to have been a rather involved process.
