Silica Weather Widget

I have only just bought Object desktop, so I'm new. I can't get my location to work with Silica weather widget...or, any location.

 

I had a quick browse on this forum, and see a few topics about certain weather widgets saying they won't work. Is this the one that is supplied? Why is this? I didn't quite understand it. Will it work, and if not why is it included?

Yes, the silica weather widget that comes with DX no longer works due to a change with the weather service provider. Stardock has said they will remove or replace silica...I can't speculate on when.
