Archiving Purchased Games

I wanted to know a little more about archiving purchased games. Do I need Impulse in order to restore an archived game? Is it archived in ISO format?

I'm concerned about the need to have Impulse in order to restore something that's been archived. Thanks.

Impulse is required to restore archives.  Archives will be .impulse files.

So.... if something ever happened to Impulse my games would be for naught?

We have provisions available should the unlikely event of our company going away come to pass.  You have to remember that this is a company that put all its chips on OS/2 back in the day, and we're still around.

I've purchased Stardock games and expansions but never another publishers game on Impulse which is what has me a little nervous.
