Elemental RPG Setting

So I've heard allusions to a plan to create an RPG with the Elemental game engine (can anyone point me to the announcement for this?).  Wouldn't it be interesting if you could populate any of your games in elemental with your characters from this RPG?  Wouldn't it be more interesting if your actions in the RPG could influence the game (i.e. the game world empire is controlled by the AI while you control your party as it wanders around the landscape influencing what you influence), so that when you switch back from your RPG to the game the game has moved forward and is influenced by your actions?

Probably a bit far ahead to be thinking seen as how we are in the early stages of the Beta, but still interesting to contemplate.

Nah... this is as far back as when Elemental was yet unnamed... from the Galciv 2 forums I think, when they were talking about all the games they were planning to create with the new game engine.

Stardock is/was recruting for a second team and one of the supposed projects (appart from someday Society and Gal Civ III... plus the new version of The Political Machine whenever it's the time for it) is/was an RPG (in the line of a Baldur's Gate). If all that still holds true, theme of the possible RPG? Surely Frogboy would have something in mind already (be it based in his own themes or maybe something totally new).

In any of the possible games they can develop in the future, Frogboy said that the Elemental engine would be used (unless he was refering to mods for Elemental XD ). Don't remember the thread tough.

I know I'm excited to see what else stardock has in the works.   From what I last heard though, the recruiting process for that was pushed back

Pushed back? Cool, that means I still have some chances (like 1 in 99999999999999999999999999999 or so). Maybe write an outline and try my luck with Lord Frogboy. XD Well, Elemental first that it's quite important right now.
