how to fill entire screen width

I'm kinda new to macking my own OD backgrounds. Is there a way to make the dock go across the entire screen.

thanks. but what i wanted to do is make the dock look like another taskbar on the top of my screen. i have the background but it doesnt go all the way to the end of the screen. do i have to edit the settings.ini and if so. how do i do that.

and im using the free version of objectdock

you need to fill the dock with enough shortcuts/icons/separators/blank separators to make it stretch across the width of the screen if you want to do it without it also growing in height. also it may be possible to use a larger image for the background and then set the margins to a larger setting but that will probably take alot of trial and error to find just the right settings to not distort the image.
