Last person to post wins, unless they are a moderator or admin.

Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

controlseven if we were to achieve the 'utopia' you want, then the next day EVERYBODY would blow their brains out due to extreme boordom  and lack of beauty and contrasts.

the best idea is to do what you can to help your area to improve( will take a lot of work and frustration and a probabilty of failure), but then you can say that you are making a positive difference.

Yeah, I know Stant and you didn't make him angry or insult him. He's not exactly the thin skinned son of a bitch some think of him as. Oh, but he can be a son of a bitch.

As for Mexico's problems, I won't argue that countries don't influence one another, but there is truth in doing the job yourself is the best way. No one can force another country to do everything it wants and, in any case, there is blame at the homestead as well. So, the best thing to do is fix what you can. Arizona was getting Mexican crime (they were Mexican citizens, so it is Mexican crime) in their city streets. Do they tell Mexico to fix the problem? Nope, they go out and start hauling in illegal immigrants. It may or may not be perfect, but it's what they can do and they're doing it.

Utopia? I have high hopes and low expectations for humanity. In either case, I'm not going to be a part of it.

Countries lasting forever? Stant didn't said anything about that. Not sure if I can help you there.

As for economics, it is what it is. If you look back to when America was not a super-power, someone else was doing something exactly like they are and their neighboring countries felt exactly the same way. I even own a Gehendra rifle which is the product of such a system long before America was in the top 10 most powerful countries.

Oh, and the Aztec weren't the victims of corruption. They were the victims of guys with guns.

1. That's a Nazi, not a sanctioned official of the Departmento Munitorum. Not cool.

2. It's spelled "DUTY" not "DUDDY". Also not cool.

1.- He's a funny Nazi; and a funny nazi is always a goof

2.- I actually meant doodie as in poop (or however you spell s**t)

Nazis are not funny. AT ALL. Really.

And referring to fecal matter is rather childish, don't you think?

As in they are only needed to control the weak minded.

Notice that Space Marines never need them. They are not weak minded. Prone to temptation, but not weak minded.

Yeah, Space Marines just have Apostles, Librarians, Grey Knights, etc.

Meanwhile, that actually is a funny Nazi. If I'm remembering correctly, wasn't that the officer in Hogan's Heroes watching over the POW camp? Those guys always had the craziest plans to escape or disrupt things and that officer was so incompetent that even when he managed to catch them, he had to keep it quiet because just letting them get as far as they did would get his ass court martialed.

So, yes, there are funny Nazis.

Yes, Hogan's Heroes, Colonel Klink. When you could feature Nazis on television. Classic.

I've seen 1 or 2 episodes of that, IIRC.

Watch it. It is very funny.

I know it's really funny; my mom watched it when she was younger and said it was great.

Well then watch more than one episode.

Will have to see if Netflix has them for streaming.

or the dvd sets, from memory it was at least four seasons, but I only have three seasons on dvd, but have a memory of a couple more seasons having been released, just did not buy

I'm thinking it was 6. I could IMDB it, but am too lazy. In any case, enjoy the classics.

Like Yogi Bear. And I've seen the original cartoons (which are enormously awesome).

To tell truth, I'm rather partial to the old Hanna-Barbara cartoons like Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear, the Jetsons, the Flintstones. They're pretty good.

The spin-offs (like the newer Scooby Doo and the Yogi Bear movie) are usually good, but it's sometimes a shot in the dark.

Those are interesting to watch as an adult. There are some jokes you never notice as a child that are very adult oriented.

I grew up watching Voltron, Starblazer, and the seriously adult drama, Robotech. Later on, and I still quote a lot, is the Happy Happy Joy Joy misadventures of Ren Hoek and Stimpson J. Cat. (Ren & Stimpy)...just thinking of them makes me laugh:grin:
