Pls help.. i have windows blinds on vista.. but it would not work

I am running windows vista sp1. when i just downloaded new skins and themes and extract them.., i installed it and follow the instructions given.

However, when i click apply, the theme is not applied. Instead, wondows classic appeared and my desktop becomes windows classic.

The program then hangs for a while and then i tried to apply the original windows aero skin. The program then auto exit by itself without applying the skin.

I launch the program again and then finally managed to apply the windows aero skin. Until now, i cannot apply the skins i've downloaded.

Can someone pls help?... I'm relatively new to this thing..

Thanks...

Hmmm, see some strange stuff here, well at least to me. :S

At any rate this is a older version.  Suggests you uninstall run a clean up program, reboot and then go to the Stardock site and download the current version. :-"

There are many reasons why that does not work.

Firstly that appears to be an XP version of WB on Vista, secondly thats the very first release of WB 6 thats 2 years old, thirdly it is not activated, and finally the dates of one of your files is not like the others...

finally the dates of one of your files is not like the others...
End of quote

huh

when i did a fresh install of the version only 2 of my dates match the above

but yeah...

one of these things is not like the others..

one of these things doesn't belong...
