how is the damage output calculated??

ive been searching the forum for sometime now, but i still cant find out how the damage output is calculated, so here are my questions:

1 does the damage apply to each weapon seperate?

for ex if an advent illuminator has 3 beams does it apply to each beam seperately or for all of them together?

2 is it for each shot fired or per second (or any time unit)?

for ex if a vasari heavy cruiser fires 10 waves does the damage apply to each wave or the the average damage of all of them in one second?

Okay, with the illuminator each beam is a separate weapon that deals damage to a different target.  This is because the unit has three different weapon banks.

No, it's one attack that targets a single target.  The Enforcer has a single weapon bank, so its volleys are only aesthetic, they are effectively a single attack.

as for note its seems people doesn't realize there's a constanta for different type of weapons making somewhat misbelief in calculating unit's dps.

basic weapons : TEC's laser, Advent's laser , Vasari's pulse gun/beam   (constanta  1)

advanced weapons: TEC"S autocannon, Advent;s plasma, Vasari's wave (constanta 3)

long range weapons: TEC's missile, Advent's beam , Vasari's phase missile (constanta 5) (not sure of TEC's Kol beam)

towers : TEC's gauss cannon, Advent's beam platform, Vasari's missile platform ( constanta 6)

Bombers : (constanta 7 or 8)

Are you talking about antilight, antimedium, antiheavy, etc.  Not sure about what you are referring to.....
