Possible Sentinel bug

I think    discharge missille's Area attaks for sentiels doesnt work.

Skill increase range, stops movement, but do not apply area attack

I made several tests that confirm that.

t1 20 sentiels vs  20 tec flaks sentiels 2 upgrades on armor and 2 on missille , tec 2 upgrades on armor and 2 on flak guns

 bouth fleets were "on" each other, no discharged misille sill.   11 sentiels survived, all flaks were destroyed

 

t2: same setup, but sentiels got discharge missille skill on

Again bouth fleets were on each other,  in range of skill ( checked several sentiels every had few flaks in range of area dmg) and again 11 sentiels survived.

Tests were repeated,

in tests we didnt  focus fire on bouth sides.

 

And it looks like sentiels main weepon is screwed

 

We also did some tests with lrms and hoshiko, but results were uneven due to repair and antimatter level

Sentinel's DM works only on strike crafts.

it didnt befor the patch and its not in changes.

No. Target filter was set to fighters only before patch as well.

Confirm. Tested against SC and regular ships and phase aoe doesnt work.

Used to work for both SC and regular ships now it doesnt work on either types.

Check forge tools files. Target filter has 1 object and it is fighter.

That's the assailant version. Sentinels use the light version. It's like soda or something.

Blair has said that the current behavior of the sentinals is incorrect. Should be fix in the next patch.
