Doesn't save settings

I just downloaded the free version of ObjectDock and got it all pretty the way I liked it.  THen when I quit it and opened it backup again, all of my settings were gone.  It doesn't save anything I do to it.

I checked in the Docs and Settings dir and found the ini files it save, the defaults are there, but nothing I do to it updates those files with any settings I change.

I am running Windows XP.  Does anybody have any idea what the problem is?  I was right on the edge of buying it when this problem reared its ugly head.  No way am I going to buy it if I am going to have this problem.
