WTF! How come everytime a patch comes out Favor Points get screwed up? I just played an AI-only game because I decided to purchase and play around with Heaven's Wrath (I usually play Oak, so I had never used it.) I purchased it, played a game as Rook, won, went to load another and sure enough, the points had been spent, but I didn't "own" Heaven's Wrath! So now I'm down 2000 favor points with nothing to show for it! I am so sick of this! This seems to happen every time a patch is released and then they have to release another patch to fix it. How about your first patch not screwing it up in the first place?!

Is it only a problem with single player, or multiplayer?

I noticed something like this too (only in singleplayer) -- went to play around with some item I had yet to use and noticed most of my purchases were gone, and favor points were down to 600-something when it'd been over 10k before.  Also all the offline achievements seemed to have been reset.  I just gave in and modified the file to give me all the items now.

If the problem is only in single player, here's what to do.

 

Go to your Demigod folder > Open game.prefs with notepad > Find a line that is called "points" > Give yourself a million points.

I had the opposite happen with SP. Before the update it rarely seemed to add favor therefore I was stuck with only about 400+. After update I went to play SP and I now have 9100. I thought maybe it was just making up for all the favor I never got before.
