Custom soundtrack

That would be very cool to be able to insert some custom sound track in the game. And maybe have the option to see other custom soundtrack for suggestion (no download involved we're against piracy)

I´ve also thought about something like that. It would be cool, if we´d have an easy way to integrate our own mp3s as the soundtrack. For example choosing different tracks for the battle map or the strategic map.

yes classical music would be great, alongside with some jazz.

Or maybe some heavy metal.

Its possible you can just drop them into the mp3 directory. Several games I've played have worked like that. I can't test it right now since I'm crashing on the start screen :(

as a guy who feels the need to embrace the future, I'd want AAC file support.  Last I checked the DRM  free files from itunes were aac files rather than MP3s, not to mention the higher quality and no limit to stereo.   (I'm looking forward to the day I get my techno music in true 4+ channels)

I'm down with jazz, but I think the music fits well enough for overland music.   I'm anxious to hear the battle music though.

Jazz can express a lot of feelings (and classical too, rember fantasia from walt disney?) so there's plenty of jazz song that can be well suited for every  situation of games  (even sub menus)

Tecnho mixining would be great in some space battle not well suited (IMO) for a fantasy gameplay.

Or maybe a steampunk mod...
