If you are using the trial, I'm having the same problem and I could find no solution, and there are also a few other posts with people having the same problem

here's my post about the problem made a few days ago

I too am having problems with WindowBlinds 6.4. I had been using it and all of a sudden it just went bottoms up. I am a registered user and I use Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. Can't supply info on installation because I can't access the program. I have turned in a support request to Tech Support Ticket Number: JWD-852407 and I'm waiting on a reply. What would cause a program to just stop working? I wonder if there is some kind of timestamp involved with the program? After a certain date no more functionality. I have tried to all of the recommended download sites, Download.com, Freeware Files, Major Geeks, Stardocks and have come up with the same error. It's not where you download it from it's a glitch in the software, I guess since all the results are the same. I don't use Impulse because it has to many problems of it's own,  no sense in compounding the problems. I first noticed the problem when Impluse updated itself to this most recent version. In Impulse also some of the installed programs disappeared from the listing. Could this new and improved digital delivery system have something to do with the problem? I have uninstalled Impulse. The support ticket tells you to look in the Knowledge Base, Support FAQ's, Wincustomize Forum, Stardock Forum, and ImpulseDriven Forum. I don't know if I should feel upset with support because I'm sure that everyone went to those places first. Why would support believe we didn't check there first before coming to this Forum and then turning in a Support Ticket? Don't really like being talked down to or for someone think that all resources hadn't been used prior to coming here. Have a Stardock Day....

Well I'm quite confused/tired/whatever atm, since my older Stardock WindowBlinds DOES work...i'm just about to go to that version, since it's quite the same and I don't have ANY problems with updating there...

End of quote

A registered user will only be able to install from the original email link, CD (in some cases), via Impulse or possibly SDC. Since you are using version 6.4 I would normally suggest Impulse........ but since you've got issues try SDC. Understand that if you've installed any of those other versions (Download.com, Freeware Files, Major Geeks) you've got to get them totally uninstalled before using either SDC or Impulse.....they are the trial version and the trial cannot be "updated" to full version.

Just so you know.....If you get it installed and running you can then uninstall Impulse afterward.

I understand some people have issues with Impulse but I (like the vast majority) have not had any problems with it. I always use the betas, currently installed on my office desktop (XP Pro) my laptop (Vista Home premium 32 bit) my home desktop (Dual boot Win 7 RC & Vista Ultimate 64 bit)
