well i copy and paste here so i hope some one can read this and help:

well i too have the same problem but when i open my documents > my games > gas powered games > demigod there is only inside DemigodLog,Minidump.dmp ? but where can you find the game.prefs ?

also this is my graphic card(i think ) Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family ?

i already have directx9.

so can some one help out ?

Get a refund for the game, or a whole new pc.

Demigod is a game with top of the range high definition graphics, and as such requires quite a powerful pc to run.

The graphics card you stated kinda looks like an onboard graphics card, you would have to research yourself into what motherboard your pc has, and what potential it has for a graphics card upgrade (AGP slot or PCI-E), and you also have to know if your current power supply unit is able to power the new graphics card.

I have a £100 gfx card and still don't have demigod running completely smooth at 1920x1080 with all settings maxed out : \

(9800GTX+ if anyone is interested - plays pretty well but i turn off AA and shadows for smoother online play - guess I need a GTX 2xx with more memory?)

dual core 3GHz is fine for games
1GB ram for windows xp is a bit meh, but should be ok
graphics card wise you need to determine whether your motherboard has a pci-express slot (newer) or AGP slot (older) for graphics cards, try looking at google for pictures or whatever, then figure out how much you want to spend on a gfx card. should be able to get an nvidida 8800 or 9800 for fairly cheap, or a GTX 200 series card if you want to spend more.

You don't need a graphics card. If you want good framerates you're going to have to get another computer, but you cna still run the game.

Your drivers are all mega old is the problem.

As others ave said, find our if you have PCI-E or APG.  Also find our the kind of ram you can use, and how many slots there are.

 

Go to newegg.com and buy 4 gigs of ram (will only show 3.something is you have a 32bitos, no biggie) and get and an 8800 or 9800.  You will then be able to play all game out there. 

Granted it wont nessisarrily be at max setting, but they will be playable. 

Side note: there is notehing wrong with ATI video card either.  I have been runnign an x1950pro for many years and it been great.  Its dated now but it still workes.

I noticed that your running a debug DLL file for directx, maybe reinstalling directx might help (www.microsoft.com/directx).

 

In order to upgrade your computer, I recommend you bring your computer to a computer shop (best buy, frys, or whatever you have near your area) and tell them you need a new video card and maybe some more ram. They will charge you for installation and maybe the hardware will be a bit more expensive then going online, but they will be able to tell you what video cards and ram are compatible with your computer.

 

I run demigod with a 3Ghz dual core with 4Gb of ram and an NVidia 8800GTX and it runs at a good framerate. If you get a 9000 series NVidia video card and at least 2Gb of ram the game will run great at 1024x768 (The current resolution of your monitor).

I have a 2.4 ghz quadcore, 4 gb ram, 8800GTX and i can run the game perdectly smooth at full settings in 1360x768.

 

If you open your case and have a look inside you should be able to see what kind of video card connection you have. If you take a picture and upload it somewhere a there are a ton of people who can help you.  That being said if you aren't comfortable identifing what connection type you have you should probably go to your local computer shop and get them to do it for you.  Installation shouldn't cost more than 20 and they can help you select an appropriate card.

That's not a dual core processor, it's a single core pentium 4 with hyperthreading enabled...it just looks like two cores to the OS. I'm willing to bet it's a Dell 4300 or 4700. You probably have a pci-e slot, check your computers documentation and make sure, and if you do, you can probably get a radeon 4670 for about 80 USD (not sure what that would be in France, though if you're in canada it shouldn't be too much more, if you're in canada, go to NCIX.com and look for a radeon 4670, that should be sufficient to make the game work)

 

For those of you who may ask, the 4670 requires no additional power connection, so it makes for a good upgrade for this kind of computer.

He probably more then likley has a Dell Dimension E310, which only has a 1x PCIE slot. What the guy needs is a whole new PC.

*edit* too early in the morning here, I read that wrong... his mobo has one PCIE slot which can only run at 4x, as it has Four x1 PCI Express channels for high-speed I/O

.... Bah I give up, I f'n hate these garbage intel boards and systems.... review sites say its only a 1x capable PCIE slot, and intel confuses the hell out of me with their four 1x PCIE channels.

I say go buy a new computer, it seems like its time for one anyways.
