After Fences 99 install, Program Files Explorer windows pops up on locking

I have just recently upgraded to 99 when my previous beta expired. I have this on 3 machine, and 2 of them seem to work fine. However, on one of my machines everytime I lock the workstation and unlock it I have 2 or more Windows Explorer windows openned to Program Files. If I uninstall Fences it goes back to normal, so it is definately related. The old beta version did not have this issue.

I am running Windows XP Pro on all machines. I really love Fences, but this is unusable. All productivity Fences saves me with an organized desktop is ruined by having to close multiple windows when I log back in.

Please help!

Is there no one from Stardock that can speak on this issue? It would be nice to have it recognized...

Thank you for the responses. The main machine which is affected and has the most impact on my life also has Impulse blocked at the network level. Will this be upated on the main exe or will there be a way to update without Impulse?

I understand this is a beta, but from my prespective the original release of Fences was perfect. I see nothing in the new version except this annoying bug which is triggered by a natural, ingrained use of a non-related OS function. I would not have upgraded at all expect my version expired. Fences adds a feature I have wanted in Windows since the invention of the desktop, and at this point I am addicted to the functionality provided by Fences. As such, this bug is creating a great deal of frustration.

In addition, I dislike the Impulse integration. I do not like Impulse generally, and love it for my Stardock games, but utilities like this are more universal and app services like Impulse and Steam deny certain users the ability to experience such wonderful apps. I am waiting for the update, but if I cannot install on the machine having the issue then I will have to stop using it. I hope like other Stardock applications I will have a way to upgrade without Impulse.

Thank you very much for a wonderful app. If I have to stop using it I will probably have to go on antidepressants.

Hello!

Any word on when the update is coming to fix this issue?  I love Fences but the 4-5 Programs windows that pop up each time I unlock my screen are a bit irksome.

Thanks!
