Modding Guide for Twilights of the Arnor?

Since GC2 is moddable, I was curious if a guide was created for TotA? I'm asking mainly since I want to create my own small mod for a friend of mine and I that has custom planets and two additional races, I have the guide for Dreadlords but it's very brief and doesn't fully explain everything =|

Anyone know of a place? (I got this feeling its sitting right under my nose)

The great majority of Cari's guide that's stickied in the mods forum is still applicable--if you have any particular questions, feel free to ask.

The guide Cari has is the one I was using; but the problem is that for some reason the game isn't recognizing the mod itself. I have it pointing to the directory (in this case: G:\Program Files (x86)\GalCiv2\Mods\Cursix) but it won't recognize the two custom XML files in the data subfolder (CustomPlanets.xml and the raceconfig) plus, the guide doesn't explain how to get each custom race to USE those planets, and if it does, then I'm clearly blind =| (This is my very first attempt at modding a game, I usually leave the modding to a friend, but he doesn't play this game, so I wanted a crack at it)

If you have any previously set customizations laying about in the My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2 folder (or equivalent for the expansions), you'll need to delete them as they override any raceconfig.xml changes.

IIRC the linkage between races and their star systems is based on the star names specified in the two files. Note that stars defined there will only apply if it's a starting system; they won't affect any random system that just happens to have the same name.

Tried that, removed the xml file for one of the custom races I had created ingame - but the game still won't recognize the new race.
