Server 2008 Support

When?

I purchased Multiplicity without the knowledge that it doesn't support Server 2008 (and to date, it isn't exactly clear where the supported OS's are listed on the Stardock site. I did email support and received a response that it wasn't supported after I failed to make it work.  Support agreed that it was probably not the worst idea to support that OS of all the others available.

That communication was on 6/4/09 with no ETA of the next release as explained by Curt H.

First - is there an updated release?

Second - any other users interested in having compatability with Server '08 are encourage to opine.

There have been mixed reports of Multiplicity working on Server 2008.  Some have it working fine, others cannot seem to for some reason.  Multiplicity is officially supported on Windows 7/Vista/XP(32bit) and Windows Server 2003, but there's nothing really stopping it from working on Server 2008.  Usually, what will prevent it is group policy settings or other security options preventing network communication.  Can you provide more specific information on the problem you're seeing specifically?

Just wondering if any progress has been made on the Server 2008 front.

There are really no details to report other than it doesn't work.  What should I be reporting? Are there any logs I can send?

On Windows Server 2008, when using the Connection Troubleshooting: Green check on "...paths set correctly" and Red 'X' on "..winlogon dll is NOT running."

How to correct?

Red 'X' on "..winlogon dll is NOT running."

Is this on a 64 bit system?  If so, this can be ignored.
