Impulse won't install DemiGod

I heard DemiGod was on sale so I just installed Impulse and ordered DemiGod.  I decided to do the "Download and Archive" option so I'd have the file for reinstalling if I ever needed to (at least, I assumed that's what it meant).  That all went fine, but when the download was done I couldn't find the downloaded file and Impulse didn't seem to have any display as to where the file ended up. 

The Impulse display still had the Install option, so I thought that that might install the downloaded file, but it didn't... it just started downloading again, so I cancelled and poked around some more, no luck.

So I decided to just use the Install option and dowload again.  That also went fine, and when the download was done it came up with an option asking me if I wanted to overwrite the downloaded file, which gave me to the path to the download.  So I know that I have the downloaded file.  However, that was all that happened... didn't go thru the usual install screens, and the main Impulse screen still shows DemiGod as "available" with an option to install, no option to run.  So I'm back where I started. 

How do I actually get DemiGod installed after it's downloaded???

I gave up and read some documentation and found the "click on the lightning bolt" menu, found the "restore archive", which actually worked.  At least, it went thru an install process and I was able to start up DemiGod.

It sure would have been easier if instead of the lightning icon there was an actual menu like "File".  And it would also be nice if when I right-clicked on DemiGod it gave me the option to restore from archive.  And if "install" had actually installed.
