Couple of questions

Hi folks

I'm considering buying skinstudio, but i've a couple of questions to ask first.

How easy is it to use for someone who has never made a skin before?  i'd like to think i'm a fairly proficient graphic designer but im not sure how easy it would be to fit all the parts of the skin together etc. So I wouldnt want to waste my money if I couldn't hack it, so to speak.

Also anyone know of any existing (and working) promo codes for it?

thanks in advance

That's kind of a loaded question.  I don't Skin Studio to be that hard to learn, but it's hard making a really GOOD skin.  It's like any other program, the more you use it, the better you become, and the more you understand.  There are some really great tutorials on getting started; I don't think you would be wasting your money -- although I'm going to warn you, it's really addictive (for me, at least).  I'm a night owl to begin with, but lately, I've been getting to bed as the sun is rising, because I just need to "fix this one little thing" -- and either it doesn't come out the way I want, or I'm so pleased with what I've done I can't stop.

There are a lot of us who create Windowblinds who have had at least minor issues with spouses due to the compulsion to keep going and neglecting the family. ;)
