As a host, it would be good to know...

As a host, I would like to have easier access to the following information as I find this useful when determining if a player should be allowed in this game or not.

1.  %Disconnect which is the #disconnects/#total games.  If I see a high number, I'll ask the player if they plan on sticking around this game...I know I can look this up, but don't want to keep a lobby waiting while I do so.

2.  A means of evaluating the sim speed for the player on this map.  Something like average sim speed for this map, or sim speed at the end of their last game on this map.  This would allow me to filter out players who could potentialy ruin the game for the other players.  This is something I can't look up, and has burned me more than once.

Thanks for your consideration,
M

Nr 1 will be addressed in the next patch, from what i understand.

The sim speed idea is quite a good one, perhaps there would be a way to do a similar thing with lag.

To be honest the current in lobby ping is useless.    It often spikes for many people when they join a lobby with 5-9 people in it.  This often causes the host to kick even thought it will settle and not be an issue in game.

I thiink it would be better if in the lobby we had these stats avalable.

Wins-loss-disconects

And then average simspeed based on last 5 games, and average ping based on last 5 games.  I am not sure how hard it would be to set this up, but it would be a much better thing to have than in lobby ping, and the in lobby ping is absolutly worthless at determining in game ping.

The Lobby Ping is fine - the connect lag is the nature of this connection style, and if the Host is kicking people due to it than they clearly don't understand the mechanics behind it. The general rule, I use anyway, is after 15 seconds if the Ping hasn't significantly decreased, I ask where they are from and ask them to leave if necessary.

The average Sim Speed is a little tricky - a Sim Speed of 1 is perfectly acceptable, the problem comes when it drops below zero. Instead of an average Sim Speed, we simply need a Bench Mark - which will be easy to do once the Replay Support has been released - that can be used to see if the person can play the game with a Sim Speed that never drops below zero and mark them accordingly. It may sound harsh, however unlike Client / Server games, your machines inability to perform effects all players.

A sim speed of 1 or 2 is safe for the end game.

LAteley I have been seeing people join a game and when it starts their sim speed is 1 or 2.  In 5-10 min its 1 to -1, and by late game were well into the negatives...

I dont get it, its not like this is a demanding game.
