Help! "Known compatiblity issues"

I was hoping someone could help me. I just recently purchased Desktop X Profesional, after installing and running I get a message "known compatibility issues" basicaly saying its not compatible with vista and if i continue it just crashes. So i switched it to run in xp compatibility mode and got it to open but now I cant get it to let me apply a new theme, when i do it just applies the background then comes up with an unkown error and crashes. When I try to apply a theme again it asks (because the program didnt execute succesfuly last time) if I wish to apply changes from a blank desktop or not - I've tried both options and the same thing happens again. I'm running 32bit vista and I greatly exceed the minimun requirments. For the past few weeks I have been using the free version of Desktop X smoothly with no problems. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Clear your DX cache. To do this, go to C:/username/appdata/local/stardock/ and delete the DesktopX folder. It will make a new one. Be sure DesktopX isn't running. No widgets or gadgets running. Once you've done this, reboot and try again.

Also, did you uninstall your free version? Please open impulse and click DesktopX Pro and see what version you have. Post the number here.

Also, what version of DesktopX are you using?  Versions prior to 3.5X are not Vista compatible.
