Draconians ?

Will they be in?

Please tell me Draconians will be in EWoM!!! I'd love to make a map of Krynn and re-create the "War of the Lance" from Dragonlance. In fact I'd start making the Mod for it tomorrow if I could B) . This would be a dream come true.

Note: for some reason when I do a Goggle search on Draconians and go to the wikki about them it has pictures and seems to not be the link I posted even though I "copy/pasted" it exactly...odd.

I doubt they'll be in the core game since they are unlikely to use things from a specific book like that.  It would need to be modded in (hint hint).

Indeed but they don't have to use "Krynn aka Dragonlance" Draconians. Draconians were in MoM and it wasn't affilitiated with the Dragonlance books in any way that I know of. I don't know if anyone has a specific copyright on Draconians as a mythical race. The original MoM also had the Klackons in it as well which apeared in Master of Orion though yes they were both owned by Microprose.

To me that's kinda like saying no other games but Lord of the Rings games can use elves because Tolkien was the first to popularize them.

Elemental is supposed to be highly modable. It is highly probable someone will implement Krynn.

I'm certain that everything in MoM that isn't in Elemental  will  be  thanks to the mod community  fairly quickly.

I  don't recall  draconians  in Moria (we're talking old ASCII   dungeon crawler  right?)

 

Then again,   if they did appear it might be hard to tell.  I know  that "d" and "D" were both dragons.   so  I'm not sure what they'd be.

I know there weren't draconians in Moria, I was just thinking of one of the more improbable "derivative" mods that will probably be created once the game comes out.

Hell I'd play Dwarf fortress a hell of a lot more if it had one of stardocks wonderful UIs,
