Whoops!

Help needed!

I'm using Cursor FX Plus and, basically, I seem to have broken it.

I installed this cursor (https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=883&libid=25) and now CursorFX won't load. At all. Whenever I click on the shortcut it just sends my CPU to 75-100% and nothing else happens, no crashes or anything, CFX just doesn't load up. In fairness, there is a warning on the cursor about it using a lot of CPU but I thought I'd be fine on my 2.4ghz laptop with 4gb RAM (as other people had commented that it worked fine with lower specs). I've deleted the cursor from the themes directory and applying other cursors but nothing's worked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: also, this seems to be in the wrong place. Sorry about that.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling CursorFX.  If that does not help, you might try checking for driver updates for your video card.

If still uninstalled, try reinstalling it then uninstalling it with Revo. LINK Run it on Moderate, then remove everything it marks in bold .Back up your cursor files first,or make sure you don't delete them if they show in the folder scan. Reboot and reinstall CFX.

You're welcome. I had some trouble with the free version and found the normal uninstall leaves too much behind, borking the reinstall. Revo works great and I use it for all program uninstallations now.

P.S. I tend to stay away from any cursor prior to 2005,they can be erratic,to say the least.
