A complain to Stardock about the "Out of Memory bug"

Well dont take this the wrong way Im sure Stardock is working on this or will be working on this at some time, im not compaining about their costumer service, its just that Ive been seeing this bug becoming more and more frecuent over time and I check posts here and there and Ive even heve come across some post that say they have been driven away from playing Gal Civ 2 because this bug doesnt let them go on with their games.

Now this post is not trying to offend anyone, but over time I havent seen a single post (check I havent seen maybe there is) where the moderators tell us:

"okay dont worry were seeing into the problem it may take a while but were working on it"

                                                           or

"look this is a common problem just move this and you shouldnt have anyproblem"

Nothing Ive only seen posts by Kryo suggesting solution but they dont seem to work (not blaiming Kryo and all hes done for the community) and I havent seen any other moderators saying anything about it.

So this post is to ask for some kind of explanation from someone or a least for someone with authority to tell us "okay were aware of this were working on it is just that you see Elemental and Demigod are taking up our time but were working on it  for ver. 2.04(if there is) so keep it cool" or something, Idont know what the rest of the community thinks but I would really like to have some kind of reaction from Stardock as to this game-stoping bug.

Thanks for reading.

At heart, I think that the limitation is the fact that this is a 32 bit app.

Any solutions will involve switching. What I wonder is if the app could be converted to be a native 64 bit or we could get an option to go in 64 bit mode (ex: like in my PC, I have Internet Explorer x86 and then x64). I wonder if that is possible with GC2.

Maybe but that wouldnt explain why it was working smoothly in ver. 1.96, in which I remember having an Inmense, month long game without a single out of memory bug.

News people I just uninstalled the High definition Mod (apparently is no longer compatible with version 2.03, but worked incredibly fine in -1.96 versions) and athe game stopped crashing (for now) when i saved, Im not saying its a solution as i havent played that long and will probably have to restart a new game since planets now look like black holes in the current one, any way ill keep you posted if this solved my problem with the Out of memory bug, I hope this helps.
