Is it really going to cost me 49.95 to get windowblinds 7?

I just recently downloaded Windows 7 RC Build 7100 (mainly in order to customize themes, etc) and I noticed there is Windowblinds 7 beta out but when i go to windowblinds site it seems that the only package that has windowblinds 7 beta available on is the object desktop package for 49.95. I'm hoping I'm missing something because I wouldn't mind buying it but 50 dollars seems a bit steep considering I don't want the additional programs that come with it. Any additional information would be appreciated. Thank you

WB7 will be available after it gets out of beta.  :)

Great!! Do you know when it comes out of beta and how much it will cost? Once again thanks for the information.

It will cost $19.95 as WB6 does.

Anyone who purchases WB6 now will get WB7 when it is released, but not the current beta.

The WB7 beta and Object Desktop is: people with an ObjectDesktop Subscription get to try the betas

I'd buy it - you will not regret it! Really worth it all! I've had a sub now going on 5 years and it is paid up to 2011 so far on my acct.. Plans are to up again before it runs out and be ready for the next windows when it comes out. Can't do without it here - I'm hooked!

CarGuy1 ....it cost me a subscription to TechNet...or not much different to the cost of Win7 Ultimate Retail [full] which I'd otherwise have been buying.

Slight advantage....I also have installed on the same machine...Office 2007 Ultimate....and the cheapest I've seen for that here was/is $999 AUD.

So far I'm a thousand dollars ahead, not counting a second dl of Win7 Ult...in the 32 bit flavour...;)

I just want to  make it clear - if i bought windowblind 6, i could get windowblind 7 once it is released and i don't have to pay for it, is my understanding correct?  And how do i go about it?  Thanks

I missed this originally. With a Technet subscription are you allowed just 1 licence key per product or are you able to install on multiple PCs that you own. I can easily see where this would be worth the cost if I could legally install Win 7 on 2 or 3 of my PCs.

Just to be clear - depends on when you bought - I believe it was said after April - if you bought before, they you would have to upgrade at a discount

Now if you had said 'If I buy..'

Just a "head's up"! If you decide not to supscribe to TechNet in the future your required by MS to uninstall all the products you installed during the subscription. I learned this the hard way. Now back to discussions about Object Desktop and Windowblinds. O:)
