Good, Evil...what does it matter? It's all subjective. Another thing, you could try colonizing planets with PQ12+ just for the colonization events that popup. I haven't tried this, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Of course, if you literally mean 'all planets have been colonized', then, I don't think this idea would work.

Colonisation events are the most controllable means to adjust your alignment. If you are not adverse to cheese, you could move your alignment by sending in 1mil colony ships repeatedly to get such events. You could do this even on PQ1 planets and disband. To bring it to an extreme, you could obviously reload till such events occur.

Random events do also give you an opportunity to move your alignment but those are uncontrollable.

You should note that the fastest way to be good is not to shrirk from the more painful good choices such as PQ, production and morale penalties. Those carry the biggest weightage to alignment change.

You need to hit 70 to move it up to the "good" (or it would be chaotic good). You get considered "saintly" when you cross over 90. Takes awhile to get there, but you get some killer improvements at that point.

you need to be saintly over 90 to get the better way and that is very much worth it for the trade center improvement. Not sure about hyperwarp, cure for depression, benevolence but I believe you simply have to be good - over 70
