Never one to rest for very long, I've been playing around with a new design
It will be cool to see what (if anything) comes out of it 
Dunno if that fits, 
seems to look more rubber-like than metallic or magnetic.

Magnetite is a magnetic mineral; a black stone with an appearance that ranges anywhere from dull to metallic. Based upon pictures I've seen, I'd say Magnetite might be a good name for this skin.
What, you been smokin' a Havana or somethin'? 
I dunno, just reminds me of the surface of a tire...especially the user and logoff panels, perhaps as it comes together it may appear differently.
Regardless, lookin nice so far

Magnetite....hmn......for some reason it isn't sticking with me. Slate isn't either. With is being so sleekly futuristic, they just don't work. And I can't think of anything else either....great help I am...lol

It just came to me. Probably all the late nite pizza. 
Nope. I'm coming up blank. How about "Nameless Slate"...or "Nameless". 
Did anyone come up with Solid Slate?

Taskbar and buttons in
FYI: Stripes are a pain in the ass!
I had to drop the texture on the center of the taskbar. It just wouldn't tile correctly 
. Oh well.....it matches the all programs background.
Still don't have a startbutton idea (AVOID ORB) or a name for the skin (keep your suggestions coming!)

First time I saw it I thought: (yes I did) "Toxic Shock" cuz of the green.

so many skins with "carbon" in the name, I appreciate the thought, though.
Im leaning towards Magnetek or Magneton at the moment.
