Ultimate Edition mod directory problem

For some reason, the mods I have are not appearing in the mod directory for the ultimate edition. This directory is different than the standard one and is C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Galactic Civilizations II\Mods\Default.

This is the standard path in the game, and even though i put my mod folders in there, in the game, it says there is nothing in the directory. Anyone have any ideas how to fix?

Your mods should go in the Mods folder, not the "Default" one within it. That one is actually a sample mod.

Yea, I've tried that and it doesn't seem to work either. The only directory the game wants to choose from is the default folder inside of the mods folder. It won't let me switch to another folder.
