real serious icon packager problem

urgent please please help...

got nowhere else to find help but here..

so here it is..

im using windows vista home premium 32bit and icon packager version is 3.20

the problem is that it displays the wrong icon even when its been reverted to the default vista icons..

when i right-click on the folder and choose properties then icon/sharing/location tab it shows "desktop" icon,instead of "desktop folder" icon.(see image below)

same too when i view it through stardock. (see image below)

 

another thing is that the DEFAULT vista iconpack is non-previewable in the iconpackager.(see image below)

im afraid of changing the iconpack without getting past this problem(might make it worse)

uninstalling and reinstalling,i think,would be risky.. :'( im not sure what to do exactly.

anyone who be willing to help or suggest? thanks in advance. ^_^ :grin: :grin:

I've had some problems with this software also, but I always fix them doing one of the following: - Apply any other pack - Apply the original icons - Uninstall IconPackager and use a registry cleaner One of them always fix my problems... remember to clikc "load" before "apply".

Wow, almost two months from the date of the OP.  Wonder if mickomapaglaro30 has fixed the problem or just went away.  Profile shows they are just a visitor. :S
