Windows 7 RTM available Aug. 6th

I have been running Windows 7 RC since it was released. While it works well...I hate the thought that I will need to reload my system. Plus...I'm going to 64-bit and didn't want to install it until I knew I would not need to re-install it. Well...thank goodness for Technet. I suspect I'll be busy August 6th.

BTW...I really like Windows 7. I hope the 64 bit works as well as the 32 bit stuff.

I have both...am using the 32bit...but will install the 64 before it's all gone gold...so I'll have time to iron out any issues...;)

I have been running Windows 7 x64 since the public beta became available and have only found one issue with my apps and hardware... my Genius webcam doesn't work... no x64 drivers as yet.  Other than that, apart from a couple of Stardock apps, everything that runs on my Vista x86 and x64 editions also runs well on Win 7 x64.

Yup, it's the best OS Microsoft has done to date... looking forward to it going gold. :)
