My point is more that you have a bunch of skills that can't be interrupted without a large amount of luck. No matter how fast your reactions are it's impossible to interrupt pounce or heal through skill alone, you have to guess. That's bad for anything you want to play competitively imo, that kind of lucky break (interrupting heal) is what decides games.
Err, the whole point of skills with low cast time is, that they aren't interrupted as easily. That's not a strange aspect of Demigod's design. If you are skilled enough to guess when to interrupt an enemy with a low cast time skill then this is obviously a good thing for you and good for competitive play.
It would suck if you could reliably interrupt every skill, any time.
I am sure cast times of skills have been chosen with net_lag in mind.
