The next patch will go online in exactly 27 days 17 hours 46 minutes and 4 seconds.
I asked a guy in the street and he said you're right.
Shrug, LoL is coming out and it looks great, doubt the 2 new demigods will keep me here
Patch 1.2 is the third phase in the on-going psychological experiment that is Demigod and is due to release when the second phase has run it's course.
The first phase was a study on people's reactions to a product that was released in a non-functional state and how long it could remain in such a state before the customer's began to lose interest. The second phase was experimenting with people's reactions to a product that worked for everyone but them or worked at it's own discretion. With the release of 1.2 begins the third phase of the project, the details of which are currently not for public consumption.

We are getting another patch???!??!?!?!??!?
Wow GasPowered games is REALLY working hard on getting us new content and patches WOO I can hardly keep up with all of these changes and patches that keep FLYING by.
no really this is crap, I bought a game to play not to repeatedly shut down my computer and I have run memory tests, hard drive tests, graphics tests, my computer is solid this game however seems to be the only one crashing.
What? I don't think anyone else is having DG shut down their computer.

But to be honest: I like this game, but I miss the diversion. 2 new Demigods and maybe 2-3 new maps + some items would bring alot of new motivation into the game. Hope they are working on it and it won´t last very long till the next big patch.
Some good new games are on the horizon and I would miss demigod....

Do they seem pissed to you? I would describe it as irrational exuberance, personally...
you are mistaken. they are not easily pissed off. you have no sense of how much you are pissing. but as someone would've expected, the troll always search for the faults on the other side.

Just to clarify guys patches hasnt been the problem with Demigod so far. Twelve have been release so far. Most games would have released perhaps 2 (sometiems even 1) patch after 3 months.
The problem is it has taken 12 patches for Demigod to be half-functional.
Just to clarify the clarification: Most of those 12 patches were done by Stardock. GPG has released 2 small patches? (not counting the patches that the patches needed!)
Anyone holding their breath for the 2 new DG's--I hope you come up for air at some point. All I've seen Frogboy say is that "they talk about the new DG's everyday" and "throwing around ideas about what they should be". Reading between the lines says they haven't actually done much work on them yet.
GPG has not made Demigod updates a priority (supcom2 anyone?) and so Demigod will fade away into non-existance as soon as some competing games in the genre arrive. I'll be surprised if we ever see the 1.2 update, with or without clan support and with or without mod support. Certainly without 2 new demigods.
Hot fxes to make a game run don't count as a patch. There have been 2 patches and nothing important has been done with those 2.
Heart of Life and Priests/Angels tweak were fairly important as they changed the flow of the game considerably.
