Minidump and black screen on startup

When I attempt to start up SoaSE: Entrenchment the window pops up, presents a black screen, and immediately gives a minidump message. Several second later, the program crashes and the "do you want to send a report to microsoft" dialog appears. Entrenchment worked without a hitch before, but has not behaved properly since I installed the 1.03 patch. Regular SoaSE exhibits the same behaviour (also fully patched, and previously worked).

I uninstalled both and then reinstalled both via impulse, which let me boot up Entrenchment ONCE before the same behaviour resumed. No mods are installed. My graphics drivers are up to date.

My laptop specs:

Windows XP Professional SP2, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0Ghz, Geforce Go 7900 GS, 2GB RAM

I searched on the forums and found that a few people had the same issue as me, but I saw no resolution on any of those threads. Any ideas?

I uninstalled SoaSE and Entrenchment, deleted Documents and Settings\(my username)\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games, and then reinstalled SoaSE and Entrenchment. Everything appears to work normally now.

Well, THAT was overly optimistic! I was playing Entrenchment until 11:30 last night, but now when I try to start it up today the same symptoms appear. I'm not going to be reinstalling the thing every time I play a game! Anyone have an idea what the hell is going on here?

I guess noone knows. Try to email the tech-support or something like that.
