More ways to get lurkers playing. Does the host matter in a custom game if it is p2p connectivity?

Basically what the title says.

I know a lot of people that wouldnt host games because they think their internet is too bad, and are always "looking" for servers.

But if this game really is p2p, it shouldnt matter who hosts right?

I'm sure if there was some official announcemnt that it didnt matter, more people with ok/average net connections would host custom, more people would see more games online, more people would play in region specific areas or instead of waiting for a game to come up etc etc etc

So does the host matter?
