If you're a premade put premade in the game title
If not admit you just want to stomp PUGs and you're afraid to face other premades.

Hello. I make custom games cos I like playing with my mates.
If I wanted to do random games, I would do pantheon or skirmish.
Admit you're too much of a wuss to play against a potentially good team - them being premade has zero effect on whether or not the team can play good or bad. You simply use it as an excuse instead of admitting that you and your own team didn't work together well enough.
Premade's do not make your team worse. You make your team worse.
look first of all the only class that has a premade have the advantage is rags since they can say snipe so and so.
the rest is commomn sence dont go solo keep in 2s
Wow, so much hate in the forums. GG guys. I agree with OP. Premades are too afraid to play against other premades.
@Aviyur: So play with your friends and state in the topic that you are premade. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
@Lumifly: I don't think he said he is afraid of playing against other good teams. I think what OP wants is some baseline to start from. If it's a premade then he wants the right to choose whether to join or not. Give him the choice to decide. Being sneaky about it is lame and lots of premades do it.
When a demigod in the game will be able to take down 2 demigods because he has huge amounts of skill, that will be the day when premades won't matter. This is not an FPS so stacking premades is an obvious advantage over PUGs. You can justify until the cows come home.
The real problem with premades are the really good ones. They know they are gonna kick your ass and let you come in with your team of random and sometimes noobs and then kick the shit out of you. How this is fun for either side I dont really know.
Pantheon and Skirmish are broken, with AI and uneven matches. Besides, there are premades in skirmish and pantheon who exploit the matchmaking system.
Oh that's complete bs and you know it. The fact is that premades have an advantage over pugs. The premades that don't announce that they are premades or at least say so when asked are the ones who don't want a challenge.
No one is saying custom isn't for playing with your friends. But at the same time people have the right to know if their opponents have an advantage over them. Once Demigod has a proper friend system the "premade problem" will disappear.
Kinda offtopic:
If I have a girlfriend, should I wear a sticker saying 'I have a girlfriend'? or only tell when people ask. Even then, some people might not tell the truth.
Blitz64: Does you having a girlfriend give you an advantage over girls that are looking for a boyfriend? The answer is no. In competition it is different. Should I wear a sticker saying "I take performance enhancing drugs" or only tell when people ask? Even then, some people might not tell the truth. People want a baseline and they deserve it. Please don't derail the thread.
hmmm, my personal feelings aside, I dont think it would be considered a PUG in demigod
If you're not a premade put "not a premade" in the title, please.
just drop your screen a check the host stats to find out, usually people will try to be sneaky about it so they can beat the crap out of random puggers
Let's all write essays instead of game names so everyone knows exactly what to expect at all times.
The next game I host will be:
"3v3 Not a premade, US, Cataract, I'm playing regulus (mines build), no doubles on the same team please, and someone on my team please get a capture lock to lock the middle flag, and someone else buy tower regen"
Its fine and dandy to have friends. But put it in the title, so people know what they're getting into.
This is especially annoying in Patheon games. Some of the people have great records...as a premade team in Patheon games.
But then again some people just want unfair advantage. Just don't play with them.
Seriously whats so hard? 3 vs 3. Premade. Done.
umm whats so hard? Premade != a good team. Me and 1 friend has specifically hunted out some random larger premade teams and have defeated them fairly easily. I have even been in completely PUG games vs a full 4v4 premade and come out victorious.
A better thing to add to the game title is what level of players are allowed in. If 4 friends buy them game and this is their first online game, should they put "4v4 Premade" just so they can get crushed by an experienced team? Of course not. They should put "Noobs" or "First timers" or something like that. Likewise for the more experienced teams they should just add "Good players" or "Pros" if they are really good.
Exactly. Which is why this whole nonsense of premade bashing needs to stop. It is NOT A BAD THING to play a game with your friends, and it is not indicative of your skill level! If you rematch with your team and have never played with them before that, youre a premade, but it says nothing about how good you are.
I think the only REAL issue is when people LIE about being good just to trounce new people. If someone asks you, be truthful.
What are you talking about? Everyone on this board knows that if you know any person on your team you are instantly a pro stacked premade, just look at all the topics about it, it must be true.
personally i think that people should get the f@#$ over it. it is a COMPETITIVE game. the only way you get better at this game is by playing better players.
seriously, if you dont want competition go play the sims 3, this is not a game for you.
this. if you join the game after this game title, it is your fault if you cant take it.
hint: if players from the same team are having a chat, it is very obvious they know each other and are a premade anyway.
Seriously guys stop bitching.
Okay, apparently I need to clarify something, because people obviously aren't getting it:
No one has a problem with premades themselves. We understand perfectly well that the game was meant for team play, even though the game was released with no support for this. The problem we have is with people who don't announce that they are premades, because THEY are the ones looking for an easy win. No one is complaining about you playing with your friends. The problem is with premades who hide the fact that they are premades, and whether you admit it or not there are many teams like this.
Actually, wouldn't that make it more likelyt hey aren't a premade, since most premades use some sort of voice chat?
I find the best way to get better is to play against people a little better than you, but not so much better that I get stomped. Playing against a 3 person premade with random joes on my team isn't necessarily going to avail me any lessons other than "find two people i know to play with so I don't have to deal with random noobs on my team."
For everyone saying that premades don't have an inherit advantage, you are either too jaded by being in a premade all the time or don't realize how much benefit open communication within a team is.
they only have an advantage if they are experienced with the game and have some sort of good communication. But if they sucked in the first place that advantage won't mean anything.
Overall though, those premade teams that are making games just so they can stomp weaker players will not and do not care and unfortunately, nothing we can do will change that except to not play with them. I'm not saying don't play with any premade, I'm just saying if a group of players continuously and constantly make games to lure random and disorganized multi-skill leveled players in, then maybe you should not play with them.
premades's stay out of the PUG ONLY games, noobs stay out of the PRO and IKILLLUGUDIMSOAWESOME! games, children under 25 stay out of the INTELLIGENT PEOPLE ONLY games, whites stay out of the BLACKS ONLY games, seal clubbers stay out of the PETA games, farker's stay out of the 4CHAN ONLY games... omgmystats!-ers stay out of the ONLINE games...
Just join it.. if you die and suck, learn from your mistakes and get better. Make note of the people you dont like playing with ('I don't like you dirty premades!') and dont play with em anymore.
I have started doing exactly this with my friends actually, mainly because we want a better game. When I host by myself, I put in 'no premades' and when I host with friends, we put in 'premade' into title.
Honestly, stomping pugs isn't that much fun, unless you get a few good players, and it is a bit closer. We have not omitted the 'premade' tag in the past because we like stomping people, but rather because we thought after a while there would be better players on average, which didn't seem to be true.
As someone said earlier, communicate with your partner and make sure he's an experienced player. BAM instant premade.
