Design needed coding

Hey guys and girls!

I have designed my dream OS UI, and I downloaded SkinStudio to try and create it as a theme for Window Blinds. I typed in the name of the theme, and then BANG! I didn't have a clue what to do.

If anyone wants to code it for me, or create it whatever it is. Please, please, reply!

Here is the design: http://www.havingsomefun.net/BRLos%20Design%20JPG.jpg

And here is the design whilst browsing the net: http://www.havingsomefun.net/BRLos%20Design%202%20JPG.jpg

I'm making my own operating system, and that's why I designed this. But I want to make a theme for windows before my operating system becomes available to the public.

Thanks, Richard.

I'm not sure designing an OS is a good idea these days - when you count the number of man hours required to create one, you realize it's not possible within a single lifetime unless you're designing something ultra simple.

Some of the things you are doing are so different I think you'd need to design your own applications to arrange them the way you want.

My advice: Instead of designing a complete OS, design an application launcher and some applications that can exist on top of an existing OS.

Oh I'm sure anyone who can code an entire OS would have an easy time with SKS :P

Windowblinds will only run on the Windows operating system.

@CobraA1 - Ah! I never thought of this. It isn't just me designing this OS anyway. There is a large team, however i'm one of the designers, and I will soon be passing this over to the coders to get to work on implementing it to the OS. I just thought it'd be nice to make a skin for WB before the OS comes out to the public. But seeing as WB can only skin the current design on Windows, and my design is completely different, obviously it can't be done.

@vStyler - I'm not coding the OS. I'm a member of a big team, in fact the founder, and i'm just one of the many designers. But as I said before, I just thought it'd be nice to get a WB theme out to the public first.

Seeing as this would obviously not work with WB because of the layout. I'll do some research and see what Apps can do it, or make a Windows App of my own.

Thanks all for the quick replies!

Sorry for double posting.

@Lantec - I know, I didn't want to put it on my OS. I wanted to have my theme made on SkinStudio for WB.

@Bichur - I wasn't planning on anything else.

That is an interesting layout for an OS. Sorta like a phone OS?

I heard some people were trying to bring phone-like OSes to low-end PCS.

Very nice design.

I wonder about compatibility, though? Will it work with applications from an existing OS?

how would you run your stardock products in the new OS then if it is designed only to run on windows?

@CobraA1 - Yeah I heard that too. But no, thats not getting made for a phone, or a low end pc. I'm in the process of making it for PC's :) Been working on it for a while now. Thanks for the compliment by the way.

@userpro64 - I do not want to run Stardock products on my OS. I want to make the design for the Stardock products to run on Windows as a 'demo' for the design and the layout.
