Quick launch icon spacing

Hello,

I am brand new to SkinStudio (read: ultra noob).  I have been playing around with some of my current skins...taking ideas from one an tryingto integrate them in another.  Right out off the ate I have run into a snag.  I cannot figure out how to adjust the spacing between the quick launch icons on one of the skins.  There is a space between the buttons that i would like to eliminate.  Not really knowing what everything does, I have tried to adjust the margins but there is still a space between the icons.  One the skin I copied the icon from, they are right nect to each other.  One the skin that I have transfered them to, there is a space between each one.  I am at a loss.

I recommend that you look at the skin you took the image from and use the margins that it used. With most things in windowblinds, it's just trial and error until it looks the way you want it. Keep in mind that painting margins just tell it where to stretch or tile the image. The text margins tell it how far from the edge of the image the contents should sit.

And also keep in mind how much space you have between the actual images. I did a little drawing to illustrate. I only drew the button with 2 states instead of 6 like it should have, but you get the idea.

The top image would give you less space in between the buttons than the bottom image
