Finger of God Bug

Game starts with Finger of God active

When playing LAN games, sometimes the opposing team starts the game with a Finger of God already in effect. I'm playing with all the default game options (War Score starts at 1, no extra money, etc.) yet right from the beginning of the game I'll see the lightning coming down zapping things. I think it might have something to do with playing a bunch of games in a row. The issue might be that when a team gets it in one game they still have it at the beginning of the next game, although I haven't kept track closely enough to know for sure.

It's probably heaven's wrath, a favor item that has infinite range and looks the same as a finger of god strike.

Ah, you might be right. I had discounted the idea that it was an item because it would often happen when no one was around. I didn't realize that one had infinite range though. Thanks!
