Favor working?

I've gotten mixed reports from friends and people online that favor is working and some people saying it's not working. 

Is favor working correctly for people (both buying items and accumulating points).

My favor is still borked.. I haven't tested buying items since I don't have much favor but I can't accumulate points and I just have the items unlocked that have been unlocked for a month now...

I havent had any probs, although i dont play online...only lan and single player. Ive accumulated roughlt 2000 favor points and have a few items purchased. the purchased items stay purchased too.

It works for some people, doesn't for some, and occasionally for some others.  Its intermittant at the very least, in not flat out broken.

Favor should be saving correctly. However, be aware that custom games save to a different pool than pantheon/skirmish, and if a game finishes without at least one human player on each side, favor will not be recorded.

That should really be changed to.. if the game starts without a human.. it isnt saved.

Ok well that clears up why it didn't save since we had rage quitters (whoopee)

Now what's the deal with the whole pool thing?  how do I properly tell how much favor I have to use for custom vs skirmish/pantheon

Agreed. Many games end without a player on both sides because the losing side leaves. That is unfair for many winning teams.

To the OP > Yes, favor works, it has worked for a long time, not sure why some people do not work.

They should add a trigger: if at 5 (or 10, they have the stats, not me^^) minutes there are still players on each sides, then the favor points are recorded. This way they still prevent abuses but you don't have to suffer from it.

The conceide button will probably solve that problem anyway, they just have to add it ASAP.

I agree.. with the way it is now, all someone has to do to pull a dick move is quit in the last minute of the game when someone is at their base finishing it off whether it was a hard earned win or blowout victory for the other team and screw all the guys out of favor.. sounds broken to me

And then does Single Player have it's own pool as well? Favor's was broke for so long I have know idea how it's "supposed" to work.

 

Does it take a while for Favor points to register? I played one Pantheon match and won, got 250 for winning. I popped into another Pantheon right away and my Favor points went up only a fraction if not at all. Couldn't remember exactly what I had before, but it definitely didn't go up 250pts.

Yeah, that is horribly ridiculous, I've only finished one game thus far that had 1 human player on both sides, and that was the one I just lost.

 

However, I do have favor accumulating from whatever source.

 

I agree that as long as there are at least 1 human player 5 minutes into the game on each team, favor should count.
