changing empire colour

Hi.

Is there a way to change my empire colour on the minimap after starting the game? I chose the wrong colour :\

Not without hex-editing a saved game file. It's probably saved in RGB format, so shouldn't be that hard to find.

Uhm, I knew how to do that... 30 yrs ago. Now I'm just plain technologically obsolete.

An editor for dummies maybe, which has a button "Choose empire colour"?
